Security tips for using MyBank365

Frequently asked questions

1. Set a password for your device.

Modern phones and tablets allow you to restrict access to the device using a password, PIN code, image key, fingerprint etc.

2. Do not give your smartphone to strangers.

If your smartphone or tablet falls into the hands of an intruder, they will be able to use your mobile banking, get one-time passwords to log in to your MyBank365 and confirm payments.

3. If you lost your phone, block your phone number and cards.

If you lost your smartphone or tablet, immediately inform the Bank, your personal manager, or call the Bank's Contact Centre at +38 044 593 10 20 or 0 800 50 18 08 and block your cards and your phone number. Then contact your mobile operator to block your SIM card.

4. If you suspect that someone else is using your number, block your SIM card.

To reissue your SIM card and get access to all financial transactions over through the phone, fraudsters may ask you to call 3 different numbers. They can also top up your account. Stay vigilant! If your SIM card is broken or anything of the above has occurred, immediately inform the Bank, your personal manager, or call the Bank's Contact Centre at +38 044 593 10 20 or 0 800 50 18 08 and block your cards and your phone number. Then contact your mobile operator to block your SIM card.

5. Do not store confidential data on your smartphone or tablet.

Your card numbers, username and password for MyBank365, personal data (code word, TIN, etc.) must not be stored in your smartphone, otherwise if it is lost or stolen, they will be available to fraudsters. After you finish working with mobile apps, log out of the session using the "Log Out" button in the advanced settings.

6. Always keep in touch with the Bank.

If your main phone number has changed, please contact your Bank and ask them to change your phone number in the database. You can only have one phone number from which you can conduct financial transactions.

7. Do not call back or send SMS messages to unknown numbers.

This may be a paid number, dialling which you will be charged from your phone account.

8. Use the standard SIM card protection mechanism (PIN).

Always use a PIN code to protect your SIM card. Change the standard SIM card password to your own. These measures will not allow you to use your SIM card if your phone is lost or stolen.
